What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for daily pharmacy operations which encompasses staffing, customer satisfaction, and the assessment of employee performance. Also assists director in planning, staff development, improving and maintaining quality, and financial performance
- Identifies and initiates actions to resolve conflicts or problem situations
- Conducts and participates in department meetings on a scheduled basis to summarize decisions and actions, ensure the assignment of responsibilities, establish follow-up activities and ensure adherence to schedule
- Establishes job competencies and performance goals to provide employees with clear performance expectations
- Able to effectively function as a pharmacist and to work on-line as needed
- Demonstrates civic responsibility by participating in community service projects and activities consistent with the mission and values of Genesis
- Demonstrates vision and initiates changes to meet the future needs of the organization
- Demonstrates effective management of financial and material resources to control cost and adhere to department budget
- Demonstrates effective management of human resources to maintain a staff of qualified, competent and productive employees
- Supports healthcare systems policies (organizational and departmental)
- Supports activities that provide CQI and the delivery of quality services
- Helps evaluate processes and procedures, which utilize material resources in order to provide cost effective care within budget
- Applies pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles to individualize drug dosing for patients
- Provides appropriate response and support for Code Blue and Code Trauma situations to maximize opportunity for patient survival and stabilization
- Appropriately adjusts doses in patients with diminished renal or hepatic function in order to avoid potential toxicities by patients receiving too much drug

Requirements
What they're looking for:
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Ohio Licensed RPh and a minimum of 2 years(min of 3 preferred) Clinical (hospital-based)Pharmacy experience required
- Experience in a leadership role

- The range is between $57hr-$72hr depending on experience
